Hi ,
Did that title catch your attention?
What if I made this claim: "Islam teaches that women are actually animals, not human."? Or, what if I said: "Hindus believe that rocks are alive, and you could be reincarnated into one."? Or: "Buddhists believe that you need to be wearing a purple shirt when you die so you'll go to heaven."? People who adhere to those religions would laugh at you, especially if they know what
their "sacred writings" teach.
So, here we have a woman by the name of Allison Hopper writing an article in Scientific American magazine about biblical creation, making claims about Christianity that are just as ridiculous as the statements above, and shows a high degree of ignorance about what the Bible actually teaches.
In her bizarre article, she claims that denial of evolution is a form of white supremacy that "perpetuates segregation and violence against black bodies". She claims that we (you and me, as biblical creationists) believe that God created humans to be white (in His image), but that when God cursed Cain for the murder of Abel, the "mark" put on him was the darkening of his skin. She claims that you and I believe,
therefore, that black skin was created as punishment. (!!!)
These, and other very racist claims she makes, are laughable if they weren't so sad. I can't imagine where she got her ridiculous delusions!
