Look at this mussel. It appears to have a little fish sitting on it. It doesn't. That little fish is actually a lure. But, the lure is not from a line that some guy has put into the water to catch a bass. No, the little fish is actually part of the mussel! It's a piece of its own flesh!
In the American Midwest, there are freshwater mussels that have the incredible ability to make lures that look like fish, worms, insect larva, etc. All of those creatures are food for fish, so they will be attracted to them.
But, when they approach and try to get a quick meal, the mussel suddenly blows tiny baby mussels into the open mouth of the fish. These tiny clams then clamp down on portions of the fish's gills to obtain oxygen. They live here as parasites, and it doesn't hurt the fish. Once they are old enough to survive on their own, they drop off and form new colonies of mussels!
JUST TELL ME THAT THIS ISN'T DESIGN!!
Here are a few obvious observations that beg answers to questions:
1. The mussels are blind and have never seen either the real creatures they "make" as bait, nor the creatures that eat them! How is it then that they can create the EXACT likeness of the bait creature?!
2. How would they know that any creature would want to eat the piece of flesh that they make that to us, and the fish, looks exactly like a real creature?!
3. They don't even know consciously what "eating" is. How would they possibly know that a creature such as a fish even exists, and that it eats?!
4. How do they know to blow their babies into the water (actually, into the fish's mouth!) when the fish attacks the lure?!
I don't need to add any more questions to this. The design issue here is so self-evident that it's actually ridiculous to even challenge it.
Yet, people who believe evolution do! They are willfully and purposely "blind" to the clear evidence that this could not possibly be the results of random luck.
