Hi
,
As you're reading this, we are headed out west to lead another Southwest Safari. This is our 11th. As you might have heard me say before, this whole area on the southwest portion of the Colorado Plateau provides the world's best classroom for the global flood. Here you can see stark evidence of the layered strata that cover the earth in roughly a mile of sediment. At the Grand Canyon, the entire cross-section is exposed. Some of these
layers cross the continent and even cross the seas to other continents! When you stand at the edge and look in, it really doesn't take much imagination so see that you're looking at a massive amount of mud - mud that's simply hardened into stone!
The Grand Canyon is actually our last stop on the trip. There are other places that display evidence that huge amounts of water poured from post-flood lakes and shaped and scoured the plateau many years after the flood ended. These beautiful sights also display the incredible handiwork of God - evident even in the vast destruction! Truly, He shows that He can turn destruction into things of beauty and
wonder!
