Thank you so much for your prayers regarding Coconut that we featured last week in our e-mail! We believe the Lord has supplied an answer. It's not necessarily what we would have chosen, or what we thought would happen, but after careful consideration of everything involved, we think this was the right
choice. This has been much more difficult than we had thought it would be...
We gave both of our birds, Coconut and Bandit, to Ruffled Feathers, a bird sanctuary in Hanover, PA. This is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization that cares for birds of all kinds that no longer have a home - for whatever reason. They have hundreds and hundreds of them! Because of
this, they plan to move to Florida within 6 months and are looking for 40 acres to set up many aviaries. It would be a perfect solution to their needs. It also means that we won't ever see our birds again!
However, here's what we would like to ask you to do. We don't know if the folks involved with this operation are Christians. Besides talking with them about creation and why
we even had the birds in the first place, we also gave them 2 of our videos, Grand Canyon & Spiders, both of which give a clear gospel message. Our prayer is that the Lord will use these to get these folks thinking about not only creation, but the deeper issue of salvation. To us, it would be the perfect reason to have ever had the birds - to help someone find Christ! Would you please pray with us about that?
