Look at the zebra on the right side of the drawing. I've isolated it here in this smaller version so you can see it clearer. However, now look at the other zebra. How can its head be in that position relative to its hind
quarters?!!
This reminds me of what I sometimes think when I read certain portions of the Scriptures. Not everything makes sense, or at least, I don't understand it fully. Other things, however, are very clear but seem to run counter to what humans might think is "fair" or reasonable. I have to remind myself that I'm looking through the glass darkly on this side of eternity. God is the one who invented life, and He is
the one who makes the rules. I will one day understand when I fully see things from His perspective, and I will join the angels in saying "just and righteous are your ways, oh Lord!" Some things might not make sense now, but they will!
The drawing doesn't make sense, either, until you realize that the zebra head that is looking to the right actually belongs to the rear end on the far left, and he's standing sideways with
his right side facing you. The zebra head looking to the left belongs to the rear end in the middle foreground, and his body is headed directly away from you. He's simply looking over his left shoulder! Does it make sense now?
