Well, it finally happened! The Philadelphia Eagles have a Superbowl victory! For those of us who are fans (yes, that's the Eagles' logo shaved onto our son, John's, head at a game that he and our other son, Luke, and I went to in 2009!), it seemed like we'd never
live to see this day. This year, however, I didn't watch a single game - for the same reason many of you didn't. The Superbowl was different, though, especially since I had learned of the Christian testimonies of many of the players and staff on the team. It seems that there is an unusually high number of members of this NFL franchise that are devout followers of Christ, and are not ashamed of it. So, after researching this report, I found it to be true! Here we have
a group of world-renowned athletes who are certainly "remembering their Creator in the days of their youth" (the real victory) and using their incredible platform to honor Him. My hope and prayer is that this Christ-centered fervor will spread. Well done, guys!
