Hi
,
When I was a teenager in South Africa, I wanted to catch and tame a crow because I had always been so fascinated with them. I would watch how they would think things through and figure out how to solve problems. Furthermore, on a completely different note, I had always been fed the line
in school that chimpanzees are our closest relatives, and that intelligence levels of apes and monkeys is incredibly high. I had a monkey as a pet, and so I knew something of their intelligence, but I knew better than to believe the so-called "science" that we are related.
However, my Zulu friends, knowing of my interest in having a pet
crow, warned me about it. Warned me? What's to fear from a crow? One of my friends literally said, "This thing is too clever!" Well, I was about to find out! He was right! Since then, I have had two crows and a raven as pets, and I can assure you -- I have never seen ANY creature that can come close to the intelligence of a crow! So, the next time someone calls you a birdbrain, consider it a compliment!
But, don't take my word for it. Watch this incredible short video, and see for yourself how God confounds the "wisdom" of the world!
