As you read this, Carrie and I are flying to Las Vegas for our next Southwest Safari. This will be the 9th time we've done this trip. This one is somewhat unique, though. For starters, we have
more folks going on this trip than we've ever had before - 45! One of the main reasons we have that many is that Dr. Walter Brown and his wife, Peggy, are coming along, and that sparked extra interest. I had to do what I could to add extra rooms for those wanting to go. Dr. Brown's studies on the Colorado Plateau are the basis for the video we made called "Grand Canyon: The Puzzle on the Plateau". This entire region is the world's best classroom on the global flood and its
aftermath. His work has answered so many questions about the region. We're honored that they could join us this year!

The photo is the Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River, just south of Page, AZ. On our safari, we stop to see it in the afternoon, and this is the view. The next day, we are on the river (for 3 hours) and view this same site from the bottom! |
