Don't you love newspaper headlines?

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth!
Hi ,
Where DO they get their ideas?! And why are they then posted as headlines? Did you ever notice that "good news" isn't news? Only "bad news" seems to make the headlines. Why is it that people thrive on this stuff, true or false? In the case of this article, VERY false, but very typical of ideas that come out of minds limited to billions of years of naturalism. Well, beyond this headline is an article that goes into a bit more detail. They claim that there have been 5 mass extinctions over time, and here is what they believe happened (these are quotes from the article):

1.  440 million years ago, an ice age caused the sea level to drop by 300 ft., which wiped out 70% of all species of living things.
2.  360 million years ago, the biggest animals lived in the sea. Parts of the ocean were depleted by oxygen, so 70% of species, including corals, died.
3.  250 million years ago, nobody knows what happened, but maybe there were massive volcanic eruiptions in Siberia causing global warming. Only 4% of species survived!
4.  200 million years ago, most mammal-like creatures and most amphibians go extinct leaving the path open for dinosaurs to evolve and flourish.
5.  65 million years ago, an asteroid the size of Staten Island hits the earth wiping out half the species on the earth and bringing the demise of the dinosaurs.

And since the next mass extinction is supposedly nearing, it's apparently time to start worrying! The above, like all suppositions based in the evolutionary paradigms, is utter nonsense, but claimed, as usual, to be "science"!

There was, of course, one major disaster in the earth's history - the global flood. Furthermore, there is a TON of evidence for it all over the earth. There are other disasters coming, too. The Bible refers to them in books like Isaiah and Revelation. They have nothing to do with naturalism, though. They are specific acts of God and have been predicted in amazing detail. Thank God that, through Jesus Christ, these are disasters we don't have to worry about at all!
In Christ,
