Hi , People have been taught that there were many "ice ages" over the Earth's supposed billions-of-years history. This is purely an assumption. In actuality, there was one "ice age", and the global flood provided the necessary conditions for the event ~ Due to the intense pressures, lava formation and cataclysmic movement of material during
the flood, the oceans would have been much warmer during and after the flood than they are today. This resulted in a very high evaporation and precipitation rate. Furthermore, the continents would have been higher and cooler. Much more snow and ice would have accumulated under the very different conditions back then, especially at the polar regions. Eventually, after perhaps several centuries, this reached its zenith and the ice began to melt back. To a certain degree, this
process is still being observed today and is currently being interpreted as "global warming". We're being told that it is our lifestyle that is causing this. To the degree that global warming is even happening at all, it has MUCH more to do with the results of the global flood! After all, the Bible says that the earth is wearing out like a garment (Heb. 1:11; Is. 51:6; Ps. 102:26), and this is perhaps one way to observe that biblical truth!
