You're looking at a picture that our daughter, Laura, took of my mother, Janet Snavely, and me on Saturday, January 28. She was in a rehab unit after a hospital stay. Laura had that day off and asked if I'd be available to go down to VA to visit her. I did, and was very grateful that I could! She was week, but
otherwise, very much herself - joking and able to talk about all kinds of things. Our dear mother died just several days later, on February 1. She was almost 95! We just had her funeral last Friday, February 10.
She and my father were missionaries for many years in South Africa. Because they were obedient to
the Lord all those years ago and went to to serve the Lord there, I was given numerous "tools" that we now use in our ministry! Her legacy will live on in many ways!
I love you, mother! Thank you for all of the wonderful memories!
