Why do intelligent people believe in evolution? The answer is based in the truth that this is NOT just a science issue. Many people like to think that it is, but it goes much deeper than that -- this is actually a
spiritual issue, first and foremost. While science can play a part in the discussion, it's very limited having no "mind of its own".
Since Darwin's time, the lack of evidence for his theory has proved to actually undermine it. So, why would otherwise intelligent people believe it? - or say that they believe it? The first two reasons were covered earlier. Here are
the last three reasons why...
3. Fear - People don't want to be ridiculed, or perhaps even lose their job.
4. Jesus Christ, the "stumbling block" - Many people would have no problem believing in creation or a global flood IF Jesus of the Bible was not behind
it!
5. Anger - People are angry at God, for whatever reason/s.
