Is "Intelligent Design" the same as biblical creation?

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth!
Hi ,
Many people are confused by the idea of "intelligent design", or ID. They think it's roughly the same thing as biblical creation. It's not. Intelligent Design correctly proposes that living things are far too complex to have evolved the way Darwin proposed. Since the evidence for great intelligence is everywhere observed, the conclusion is that there must
have been an intelligent designer. This is true. However, there are differences:
Intelligent Design
1. No specific designer is proposed.
2. No specific time is proposed.
3. No specific method is
proposed.
4. No purpose is proposed.
Biblical
Creation
1. There is a specific designer - Jesus.
2. A (literal) 6-day period, +/- 6,000 years ago.
3. God spoke, and it came to be.
4. God always has a specific purpose in mind.
Intelligent design is indeed a step in the right direction in that it challenges the long-held dogma of evolution. Its weakness is that it doesn't go far enough and it allows dilutions and weaknesses to surface in the true message. Thank God that we have the full, accurate, and purposeful account!
