Less than two weeks ago, as our Alaska Safari was just starting and we were headed to Denali, we got the news that Charlie Kirk had just been shot. As the minutes passed, and I watched it on my phone, the news of his death was revealed. I immediately took
this screenshot, then shared this news, through the bus microphone, to all of our guests. One of the things I mentioned was that when a seed is planted, it returns many-fold as it yields a crop. At that time, I had no idea the extent of Charlie's influence for Christ! Truly, he was a missionary to young people!
Our trip ended with his memorial
service. Watching the astounding events on Sunday were shocking, as this very thought was portrayed over and over again!
But, the most astounding part of this is what Dr. Ben Carson said as part of his speech. He noted that Charlie was killed at 12:24PM, and that John 12:24 says, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into
the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit."
We've all been praying for revival! Could this be the start? Let's pray so!!
