Happy Thanksgiving!

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth!

Hi ,

The sun set during a walk on the beach while we were on vacation. The clouds reflected the lowering light, the colors dull and boring.

In the tundra during our Alaska Safari, the autumn immediately turned the leaves of the shrubs and berry plants into dry and crumbling powder. The same with the leaves back home here in Pennsylvania, grey and lifeless.🤔

Obviously, that's not the case, not by a long shot! But, why? God could have easily made the clouds every night go from white to gray to nothing. He could have done the same with leaves in the fall. Green to gray to nothing. Why did He paint everything with such beautiful colors? The same thing is true about a LOT of things - flowers, for example. He could have made them all one color, but He didn't! He didn't need to do all these things, and with so much variety, but it's another treat that He gives us!

I celebrate this Thanksgiving by enjoying all of this, everywhere we look! And, as I enjoy the turkey meal this Thursday, I'm glad God even gives us taste buds so that we can enjoy the flavors while we're eating. Lord, thank you!
