For several years, there have been folks who have asked if we would ever consider leading such a trip, and we wanted to wait until we reached a certain point in our video production before attempting to tackle this.
We believe that now might be the time. To that end, six of us just went on a fact-finding trip to see if our proposed itinerary would work. Based on that, here are some generalities regarding the proposed trip, and more details will follow if it becomes a reality:
1 - The first official trip might be as early as 2025.
2 - It will be in early-to-mid September.
3 - At this point, it appears that it could be 11-13 days altogether.
4 - We are working right now with Holland America to include a cruise on the return since many of the sites can only be seen from a boat. So, 3-4 days of the trip would be land sites, and the rest would be sites based on the cruise.
This e-mail is a sort-of "feeler" to see if there is anyone who would like to join us in such a
trip.
