Have you noticed?! Disaster from the sky! You're being sprayed!
Akin to the concept of the flat Earth is the notion
that we are being sprayed by aircraft! After all, one only has to look into the sky, virtually anywhere, and you can see it with your own eyes! Streaks of white "clouds" -- chemtrails! These chemicals are intended for all sorts of purposes. Some claim it's to control global warming (somehow!). Others claim that they are attempting to control the population, or spread disease, or cancers, while still others claim the chemicals are being used by the government to aid in "mind control". The
list goes on.
And, one person who believes this asked me if I have ever seen them cross in the sky. Well, of course I had. (Look at the photo -- you can see "crosses" there, too.) He then said, "We all know that 'X marks the spot!'". I was astounded. He actually believes that the area below any cross in the sky is specifically targeted
for....something! He further told me that, in order to make the "X spot" accurate, all of the planes are flying at the same altitude. He "knows" this because he said that he watches the planes using binoculars --- and at the airport, too, no less (like that somehow added credibility)! I explained that planes flying in different directions MUST fly at different altitudes to avoid collisions. I further explained that the planes appear to be the same size simply because they're flying
so high. But, no matter what I said, he had a come-back. He finally told me that he's not a conspiracy theorist. He claimed to be a "conspiracy factist"(!)
This idea is growing like all conspiracy theories do, egged on by mysterious posts written (anonymously, of course) by supposed airline employees that speak of super-secret things that no one
can know! Furthermore, social media, with its algorithm structure, causes this type of idea to grow exponentially. The stories spread and grow, while people feed off of each other.
It's all nonsense. You're not being sprayed with chemicals. This notion is as groundless and as unscientific as Darwinian evolution. In the next post, we'll look at what's
actually going on, and why those contrails are there...
