Hi ,
A beautiful, blue butterfly. A harmless creature, right? Not so fast! Not everything
is always as it appears. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that every creature has its own unique instinct. Instinct allows a creature to survive in its environment without having to "learn" how to do these things. This absolutely cannot be the result of any type of random evolutionary processes! Design always indicates a designer.
There is a species of blue butterfly that has an astounding story! It begins when the egg hatches, and a caterpillar emerges. It starts to eat on the plant where it was born, but at a particular stage it will fall off onto the ground. Now is when the "fun" begins! The caterpillar will put out a specific pheromone that mimics the queen ant of a particular species. Workers will locate this ant, and be further mesmerized by the fact that the caterpillar can emit a tiny drop
of sugar, similar to an aphid. The combination of the treat and the pheromone is overwhelming to the worker ant.
Furthermore, the caterpillar will now do an extraordinary thing! It will take in air while the ant is tending to it. As it expels the air, the audible sound it makes mimics a queen ant that is in distress. What happens next
takes the story to a new level! (continued....)
