Remember when this painting was made. 1562! That is long before Darwin's theory of evolution ever became known. Long before any controversy about dinosaurs ever existed. Long
before dinosaurs were even known in our modern world! Long before it was "decided" that dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago! What are they doing pictured in a scene painted in 1562?!!
This brings up a very interesting question: Were they still alive at the time Peter Bruegel made this painting, so that he depicted something he assumed
happened back in Saul's day? That is entirely possible since many artifacts depicting dinosaurs living with man have surfaced in recent years.
This confirms, yet again, that the evidence is pointing not to dinosaur extinction 65 million years ago, but that dinosaur extinction has happened gradually over the last 5,000 years since the end of the
global flood referred to in the book of Genesis.
This painting is featured in our new DVD on dinosaurs that was just released. This is just one of the many artifacts showing dinosaurs with man found around the world.
