Then, suddenly, one of the bees is inevitably caught by the intruder! It releases a specific distress pheromone, the signal that all of the others have been waiting for! They immediately swarm all over the attacking hornet, not allowing
it to fly away. The hornet is soon completely encased in swarming bees that are not actually stinging it. But, they are doing something just as lethal!
The hornet cannot survive at a temperature above 114 degrees Fahrenheit. But the bees operate at a temperature about 3 degrees above that. So by swarming over the hornet, they literally roast it alive!
The evolutionary claim is that these bees supposedly have been living with hornets for millions of years, and so therefore have developed this particular strategy. This is completely false. To develop a particular "strategy" would involve specific steps, and require mutations that respond to a stimulus, or specifically, a need. That is not how mutations work. They are purely random.
Common sense will tell you that this is specific design. And, it is NOT science to claim that all of the necessary steps to get the instincts, the pheromones, the triggers, etc. to work so perfectly can simply be hidden behind the magic secrecy of millions of years of blind chance. That's pure guesswork and wishful thinking!
