Hi ,
If Darwinian evolution is to have any credibility, it has to have scientific evidence backing it all along its supposed vast journey through time. The drawing here represents the major pillars, or steps, or events, that would have been necessary. Matter had to have a beginning, and for many decades that supposed beginning was called "The Big Bang". Then, after eons of time, supposedly the miraculous happened all
by chance - life began! Somehow, non-living matter became alive! No explanation or evidence for either of these major steps has ever been produced. Yet, they were both hailed as being "scientific".
By the time Darwin rolled around, he assumed the first two were a given. He then built on that, convincing people (and doing a great job!) that the simple creatures somehow became complex and diverse. That's the third pillar in the illustration. The foundation for all of them is billions of years of time. Essentially, these are still taught in schools, colleges, and on TV programs.
But, now there's a problem! At the Smithsonian Institute's Natural History Museum, in Washington, DC, the exhibits and theaters that covered the first two pillars have mysteriously vanished! The topics are simply ignored! The "spiral" has
taken their place. At the outer portion of the spiral are images of man's appearance on Earth. Then as you move into the spiral, you get back to the dinosaurs and eventually down to "simple" creatures like trilobites. After that, as you go into the spiral, they simply label it "deep time". But, in that "deep time", life was supposed to have somehow spontaneously generated from non-living material. And further back is supposed to be the beginning of matter.
But..... nothing. All of that is supposedly covered by simply stating "deep time". No more exhibits on the big bang, and none that try to explain where life came from?
So, now the museum has quietly abdicated. There simply is no evidence that either happened -- or it would most certainly be there!
And, I guess you're not supposed to ask any questions....!
